Datagroup national communications service provider adds up to its top management team. The new cloud computing business unit will be headed by Evgeny Vladimirov.
Cloud solutions will be one of Datagroup priority directions this year. Its head has to introduce a new market segment to the company and become one of its leading players. The company intends to offer services to both large corporate clients, as well as representatives of small and medium businesses.
"Cloud computing has become an integral part of the telecommunications market. Entering this market segment is a natural move for the company. We plan to become one of its leaders in the next few years, " said Datagroup Director General Alexander Kardakov.
"This time is favourable for the company to enter the cloud computing segment. Datagroup has all the prerequisites to gain a foothold in it. The market is still being formed, and new providers emerge. Many companies have a chance to get their share in it. We plan to be an active player in this market, fix quality standards for the provision of hosted options and foster the culture of their use ", says Evgeny Vladimirov.
Evgeny Vladimirov is a cloud computing market expert. He obtained higher economic education at the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute". He began his career at Fujifilm in Ukraine in 2003 as the head of the central region. He used to be a corporate sales expert at "Ukrainian Mobile Communication" (now - Vodafone Ukraine) since 2005. He led the telesales team at the Microsoft representative office from 2006 till 2008. He held a number of managerial positions at the Cisco representative office from 2008 till 2014. Then, until recently, he developed the ActiveCloud’s business in Ukraine as commercial director.
Evgeny Vladimirov is also engaged in volunteer activities, and acts as an expert of KyivSmartCity NGO, the head of the Information Technology Committee of the Airports of Ukraine Association and the IT advisor at Ukravtodor.
