From the first days of the war, Datagroup-Volia set itself the task of providing high-quality and free communication to people who are now forced to hide from enemy shelling in the nearest bomb shelters. So, since February 24, more than 400 bomb shelters across the country and more than 100 shelters in Kyiv have already been connected to high-speed Internet.
But bomb shelters, unfortunately, are not the only places where Ukrainians are now forced to stay, hiding from the war. According to the UN, about 7 million of our compatriots were forced to leave their homes and seek refuge in other regions of the country. Therefore, Datagroup-Volia initiated an additional program to connect humanitarian centers for internally displaced persons to free high-speed Internet.
“Reliable and high-quality communication for the “settlers” is one of the first urgent needs, along with food and a roof over their heads. It is very important to keep in touch with relatives left in the war zones, as well as to get the latest news. Also, children should be able to continue their education online in order to help us rebuild our country after the victory. That is why we decided to provide these people with free and high-quality communication,” Datagroup-Volia commented on the initiative.
So, if you are in the center of dense IDP living and do not have high-quality Internet there. You should email Shelter@volia.com. The company's specialists will evaluate the technical feasibility and will do their best to come to you as soon as possible and conduct a free connection.
Also, the company reminds that all Ukrainians have free access to 22 informational TV channels through the VoliaTV online application. Follow the news wherever you are. Everything will be Ukraine!
