The Datagroup-Volia company, the charitable foundation "I am the Future of Ukraine" and the Juvenile Police of Ukraine this week announced the launch of the "Our Children" project. As part of the project, Datagroup-Volia undertakes to provide for 50 war orphans until they reach adulthood.
“These are children from the occupied, de-occupied, front-line territories and from all of our long-suffering Ukraine. Many of them lost not only their parents, but also their home, all their acquaintances, things and livelihoods. We will not be able to compensate for these losses in any way, but we will be able not to leave them alone with trouble, to support and grow them together,” said Mikhail Shelemba, CEO of Datagroup-Volia.
“Our goal is to help hundreds of children who lost their parents in this terrible war to get back on their feet. This is not a one-day initiative, until the age of eighteen they will receive a scholarship - 8,000 hryvnia for their most important needs. Someone needs to finish repairs in the room that dad did not have time to finish, someone needs to buy firewood for the winter, which there is no one else to chop, someone needs to pay for treatment after shrapnel wounds, someone needs to visit a psychologist to stop waking up from nightmares every night, someone needs food, and someone needs help with paying for tuition,” Marta Levchenko, head of the I Am the Future of Ukraine Foundation, comments on the initiative.
“On February 24, a full-scale war began in Ukraine. Since that time, every day this war takes the lives of Ukrainians and leaves thousands of small children orphans. These children are our future. It is they who will build our country after the victory. But for this, they need to grow up, get a decent education and have everything necessary for life. That is why we started this project and took responsibility for the welfare of these 50 orphans. Because good will win!” - continues the CEO of Datagroup-Volia - Mikhail Shelemba.
The financial costs of the first stage of this project have been agreed to be covered by Datagroup-Volia, but anyone can join this cause.
“If we raise more money, we can increase the number of children who receive assistance. You can also join the project non-financially - donate a laptop for training, a guitar or building materials for repairs. Join as a tutor, psychologist or mentor. Many of these children now simply need a safe, constant adult mentor in their lives,” adds Marta Levchenko.
Join the project and help children left alone because of the war. You will find all the necessary information on the page of the Charitable Foundation "I am the Future of Ukraine".
Everything will be Ukraine!
